What a better month than Woman' History Month to announce a creative challenge made for women, by women

The Create(HER) Life, LLC is woman owned and operated creative agency focused on delivering branding and digital creative solutions for small to medium sized women owned businesses.

This month we are teaming up with our client TOFi™ International, a unique investment firm for women and girls of color, to bring to you the Create(HER) Life challenge, The CreateHER Life Lightning Fellowship Program.

The Create(HER) Life, LLC is looking for 5 innovative women of color to be fellows for 6 weeks to help grow the brand of TOFi™ International.

What makes this project cool is that if YOU you are chosen for this fellowship you become apart of a team that is creating a groundbreaking project in the city of Atlanta.

 Please note to complete the challenge you will need to have access to a computer and the Adobe Creative Suite of applications, including: Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.



Any women creative located in the State of Georgia. (Must be over the age of 18 and have 1-3 years creative working experience)

A 2017 SCAD Graduate, Morgan Daniels is the Founder of the organization JOYDay as well as a freelancer currently working with The CreateHER Life (CHL). Her vast experience in a variety of industries is what makes her the perfect advisor for this challenge. From working on the Mayor of Atlanta's campaign to being published by Black Enterprise and BET this young creative truly reflects #blackgirlmagic.

The Process

Here is a look at the the process in detail. Please be sure to read before applying.

Step 1: Do your research

Do your research on the client your team will be serving: TOFi™ International. Here are a few places to start: 




Remember if you win, you will be working for 6 weeks as a creative fellow with The CreateHER Life on the TOFi™ International account. 

Step 2: Apply

The application process is your first chance to make a good impression. Please remember to check for grammatical errors, and when it comes to the video make it fun and also relevant to the client, TOFi™ International.



Step 3: Complete the creative challenge.

You receive the challenge assignment and instructions. 

You will have from March 29 to April 1 at 11:59 PM EST, to work on and submit your project.

Step 4: Attend CreateHER Life Lightning : A Live Selection of the Summer 2018 Fellows

If you enter the challenge and submit your project on time, you are automatically invited to attend CreateHER Life Lightening --- April 5, 2018 at "The Vault" in downtown Atlanta. 

This will be a three hour event bringing all contestants together. During this time you will meet the CEOs of The CreateHER Life and TOFi™ International, enjoy panels from Women of Color creatives around the nation, AND find out the winning team for the internship.

Step 5: Funds are distributed

 Fellows will receive $200 and a 6-week fellowship contract (Please note the fellowship is unpaid) 

Step 6: May 7 Internship Orientation | May 14-June 22 Internship

The internship with The CreateHER Life will be virtual in nature, but will require the team to meet at a variety of meeting locations throughout the Metro Atlanta area. For 1 weekend during the internship we will have an intern retreat on beautiful Lake Keowee (approximately 2 hours from Atlanta).

Please note that each team member is required to dedicate 20-25 hours a week to this internship. (4-5 hours a day). 

Additionally, each individual should have a computer or access to a computer that has the Adobe Creative Suite.
